User Name Remember Me? August 13,PM GeoLund. My snag is that the serial number does not have any letters, only numbers. It has either 5 numbers or possibly 6 numbers with the first two stamped on top of each other
I have a with a serial number starting with B and for a fact I k ow that the gun was purchased In since I have the original sales receipt and inspection paper from the factory as well as the box so if that helps. I have one with the original box and packing paper. My dad carried it in Viet Nam but wasn't too concerned with opposition He was flying an F4 Phantom at the time It's in good to great condition with just a smidgin of surface rust

Now the strange part,the serial number on the exposed part of the metal pistol grip frame looks like B but when the grip is removed the number usually covered by the grip on the same metal pistol grip frame looks to be ,?? They have little value as collectables, but they are fine shooters, and I would clean it up and use it. Many of these were used hard with little care, but a large number of them still work find despite the wear. Enjoy it. I had one of these guns for my trap line and they were common for this use. I no longer have it but it is much as stated above; worked well though it suffered a lot of abuse. My Dad has a 9 shot revolver in.

Matter of fact, most of the frame that is not easily visible shows rough signs of the machining process. Parts kits are NOT functioning firearms; they are parts kits, sold as-is and may include incompatible components. One place may have something but said there are so many models, they needed further clarification - and they are mail order only. I will pass it on to one of my grandsons.
