I've decided to start tackling the Classics series, starting with series 1. I checked Hot Wheels wiki and made a spreadsheet for all the colors of each model using the info from that site. However, as I've started checking off what I have, I've come across quite a few I own so far that aren't listed on wiki as colors on some models. So I guess wiki isn't as accurate as I had hoped.
