Neola's annual Hoo Doo Days Parade, held Monday, is an annual gathering of politicians and area fire departments - and a place for kids to grab for free candy. But this time, the year-old Neola man spent time sweeping rainwater at his house where the black top meets the concrete so his family could have the perfect seats. An estimated 5, people attended the 68th annual event on Monday, which began in as a celebration to welcome home soldiers and veterans during World War II. Home Medway News Article. Part of Kent is set to have its first-ever tractor run which will see dozens of Christmas decorated vehicles fill the roads. It is organised by Stoke Medway Airfield and will have around 30 tractors parade through the streets around the Hoo Peninsula.
