I chose Texas Tech because when I visited the campus I automatically fell in love and felt like I had found my future home. My preferred medium is currently watercolor, but I also enjoy acrylics, ink drawing, and calligraphy. My work is colorful and often described as whimsical, with a focus on feminine energies, fungi, and "dream-scapes". My art has granted me countless opportunities and a whole slew of enduring relationships. Living in Corvallis, OR there was once a time when I was running two local studios, promoting the Corvallis Arts Walk, volunteering for multiple local non-profits, and running the social media pages for all of them - All while working a full-time job and trying to promote my own artwork - I thrived in the chaos! Then the pandemic hit, and everything was suddenly halted.
