Again thank you for brilliant review and we hope to see you again soon. The whole park is immaculate and well kept, the lawned areas are all kept looking immaculate.

Arrived to a dirty caravan, full of left over food debris and beds that had not been changed from previous guests and filthy in the bedside drawer in the twin bedroom where my children were sleeping. Broken bathroom panel hanging down. Sticker containing previous guests details left in the kitchen, old rubber cleaning glove left in the kitchen. Dirty sticky marks on kitchen work surface. Complained to customer services, who tried not to comply with their own Holiday Cleanliness Guarantee policy by trying to send someone to clean it whilst we were out without completing an inspection with us as they specify in their guarantee. Someone attended, we identified all the areas of dirt we had found, which were cleaned, however the cleaner found a loose unidentified tablet in the bedroom my children were sleeping in!!!

Hopton is a heavenly place to escape to on the Norfolk coast. Direct beach access, one pool with water slides and palm tree fountains and a second simple pool for a relaxed swim, plus a family amusement centre and Inflatable Arena makes the park an amazing place to treat the family. Some of the many things to do at Hopton Holiday Village include the epic SplashZone indoor pool, jaw-dropping events arena, The Marina Bar and Stage and of course the gorgeous beach directly accessible from the park. Take a short drive to Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park for fairground fun or hire a boat and explore the tranquil Norfolk Broads. Glorious forest trails and hidden clearings are here to be explored. The beautiful Great Yarmouth beachfront plays host to Seashore holiday park where top Norfolk attractions such as the Pleasure Beach and Golden Mile await.

We went May 19th to May 24th and we had to use two quilts per bed also and we left the fire on low every night. The Beach Hut. We had not previously seen this as it was covered by what looked like a broken plastic bottle cap. Well done to everybody at Haven Hopton. The security man at the entertainment building at 4pm talked us through all procedures in a friendly Manor. We tried to complain again to customer services but no one was available to speak with at the time so upon departure we submitted a formal complaint, only to be advised that what we had received was considered fair and they would offer us no further compensation despite every day of our holiday finding new areas of filth in the caravan.

The amenities draw mixed reviews, with clean entertainment spaces but concerns over the swimming facilities and Wi-Fi. The refund policy in place is done remotely and you will receive this back to the card originally booked on within 28 working days. Over the years if I had realised when booking with Haven, as we always go for prestige for the heating, we could have phoned the park direct and request a standard with heating and saved loads! The Caravan was spotless and had everything you need, the newer models also have a cloakroom wc off the main bedroom in addition to the main bathroom, which was useful. We booked a prestige caravan which was lovely and clean and comfy, booking in was much easier as well - no queuing for half hours to get keys, just met by someone as we drove in and given directions to our location. We do have signs throughout the buildings to wear face masks and we hope that people are mindful of this and others around them, but unfortunately we cannot control other peoples preferences. But there was things on every day for the kids to do, we never got to them though as we had other people with us. Been going to Haven Holidays, Hopton for years but this will be my last visit.
