Bluebird Harper Row is a fictional character appearing harper row American comic books published by DC Comicsprimarily in association with Batman, harper row. While Harper eventually took on the heroic alter ego Bluebird, she only operated as a superhero for a few years. Now, CBR is taking a look back at Harper, from her first meeting with the Caped Crusader, the dawn of her crimefighting career as Bluebird, and why she ultimately stepped away from the role. First appearing unnamed in a cameo in 's Batman 1, by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, Harper Row and her brother Cullen emancipated themselves from their father due to his uncaring attitude and criminal activities. While living together in Gotham City's roughest neighborhood, the Narrows, Cullen is rescued by Batman when he is attacked in a hate crime. In a show of solidarity, Harper colors and cuts her hair to resemble Cullen and begins to learn everything she can about Batman.

Harper Row , also known as Bluebird , was one of Batman's allies. She was a gifted electrical engineer. Motherless, Harper and her brother Cullen were forced to live with their father, who had a habit of breaking things and disappearing for stretches of time. During this time, Harper would fix the things her father broke, listing her brother and herself among the list. In order to compensate for all the damage her reckless father would cause, Harper soon developed a talent for fixing things. During the Zero Year when the Riddler shut off the power throughout all of Gotham, Harper and Cullen were stranded in their apartment while their father decided to take advantage of the situation and go out for a drink. Still a child, Harper pointed out her father's inability to be a decent parent and comforted her brother during the Riddler's takeover, rigging his nightlight to a battery so that he didn't have to sleep in the dark. Eventually Harper applied for emancipation. After achieving this, she moved out, taking her brother Cullen with her, and applied for a job with the city as an electrical engineer, and got a job doing maintenance on the city's electrical grid. Harper and Cullen moved into the Narrows and broke contact with their father.
They both had a rough life due to abuse, harper row, abandonment and the lack of money. Batman got into a fight with a dog-fighter who injects Venom into his dogs one night while Harper row is watching and, fearing for his life, she jumps in once again to save him.
Harper infiltrates an underground nightclub looking for the new "kingpin of Gotham. Suddenly Harper disappears and changes only to come back under her new name, Bluebird. She uses new gadgets and shock guns to help Batman fight off thugs in the club. Soon it is discovered that the kingpin Harper was searching for is Selina Kyle. Given their history, and Batman's insistence he needs help, Selina opens a safe to reveal what Batman needs.
The young engineering prodigy, also known as Harper Row, first appeared in early issues of the current Batman volume, beginning in , but hasn't made a costumed appearance since the DC Rebirth relaunch.
