The Christian Labour Association of Canada issued a news release on Wednesday, exactly three weeks after about EAs hit the picket line near the school division's head office in Steinbach. Should the new collective agreement be ratified, the educational assistants will be back to work on Thursday, CLAC said in its release. A union spokesperson declined to comment beyond the CLAC release, saying they are waiting until the ratification process is complete.
