Warning: Unmarked spoilers for the whole Danganronpa series. Hajime Hinata Ultimate??? One of the protagonists of the Dangaronpa series. He's introduced in 2 as a member of Class 77 on their strange and sudden appearance on Jabberwock Island. He and his classmates become the victims of the Killing School Trip and is forced to survive as his classmates collectively try to get away with murdering each other. Unlike the previous protagonist Makoto, Hajime doesn't actually remember what his talent is , and much of the game's mystery is finding out how he ended up in class with the other Ultimate students. By the climax, it's revealed that Hajime has an alternate personality known as Izuru Kamukura, the Ultimate Hope. He, a talentless student, had been surgically altered to possess every known talent to humankind, all at the cost of his memories and emotions. Izuru went on to set the events of 2 in place by placing all of Class 77 in a simulated world and reverting his own personality back to that of Hajime's. By the end of the game, Hajime is able to reconcile his own memories and emotions with that of Izuru's to defeat the other mastermind of the game. In general Alliterative Name : H ajime H inata.
