It has the exact same mechanism as the Rubik's Revenge, but it also shares the same idea behind the Mirror Cube - Meaning same color stickers but changing block sizes. The center pieces of this puzzle 4 center pieces for each face of the puzzle all have the same height and width, they only differ by depth, so matching them means there are no "bumps" - all 4 have the same depth. Each edge piece of this puzzle appears twice, and they should be matched together. After matching both the centers and the edge pieces, we are left with a puzzle that can be solved using the standard algorithm with 2 parity cases. Mirror Cube 4x4x4.

The Fadi Cube 4x4x4 is a higher-order variant of the Redi Cube. It was invented in by Oskar van Deventer. It was mass produced by Meffert's between and under the name Mosaic Cube , and by LanLan since On their website, Meffert's write about going through 5 different prototypes before releasing it as a collectors puzzle not meant for speed solving. It is believed Meffert's were never fully satisfied with the design and the clunky turns, which eventually led them to pull the plug on production all together. The Fadi Cube is obviously harder to solve than the Redi Cube, however, it is not considered to be very hard to solve. In the early days, solving this puzzle as a Redi Cube was especially interesting since the Redi Cube itself didn't exist yet. The world record for fastest solve is Fadi Cube 4x4x4. Drag to play! Comments Grubiks 4x4 treating them as single pieces, and thus "reducing" the problem by making the puzzle equivalent to a regular 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, which can then be solved using the normal 3x3x3 solving methods along with two parity cases that require separate algorithms, grubiks 4x4.

The Rubik's Revenge aka the Master Cube has a 4x4x4 cube layout, making it harder to solve than the original Rubik's Cube. Aside from the 8 familiar corner pieces, this puzzle features twice as many edge pieces and 4 center pieces on each of its faces compared to only 1 on the Rubik's Cube. The most common way to solve the Rubik's Revenge is called the "Reduction Method". As implied by its name, this method focuses on solving the 2x2 center pieces and 2x1 edge pieces first. Then treating them as single pieces, and thus "reducing" the problem by making the puzzle equivalent to a regular 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, which can then be solved using the normal 3x3x3 solving methods along with two parity cases that require separate algorithms. An interesting concept to keep in mind while solving this puzzle is that even-order puzzles don't have any fixed facets.
