As I continued to explore my new little hometown, Compostela, Cebu, I visited another restaurant in Compostela with my husband. The location of the restaurant, Green Lagoon Nature Park, is a go-to place of the Compostelahanon and even nearby cities and townspeople frequently visit the place to swim and enjoy. It is an open seating one-story bungalow building. The refreshing ambiance is because of the caress of the sea breeze. The bosa nova music adds charm to the restaurant. Its balanced volume allows people to converse with one another. Food Lapyahan by Green Lagoon in Compostela is best known for its seafood. You can buy a minimum of grams of crab, shrimp, and squid and have it cooked based on what is on the menu. Crabs can be garlic butter, sweet chili, or steamed; Shrimp can be garlic butter, baked, sinigang, sizzling, or prito fry ; Squid can be calamari, adobo, grilled, or sizzling. Of course, fish is available. They have the regular katambak, malasugi, and blue marlin as well as special fish like tangigue. We indulge in a feast of grams blue marlin cooked into kinilaw and tinola. Palates vary from one person to another, and these recommendations are simply a reflection of my satisfaction. My overall food rating for Lapyahan is 4.
