The folks at Got Friends have a reputation for creating some impressive content. Sometimes that content is of the conventional add-on aircraft variety and sometimes they go and do something a little bit different. Got Friends sent me the Avitar: Valor pack in exchange for a review of the product. As always, my thoughts are my own and Got Friends gets to read this review at the same time that you do. Most of its free and some of it is paid. Those are the free options. These are not based on any specific person and are instead fictional, though realistically realized, characters with American style pilot gear.

We hope to see a release next week but this process may take an extra week or two.

Got Friends is back with a new aircraft release for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The talented team, which is becoming quite prolific, has released today their latest masterpiece: the F4F-4 Wildcat. This digital rendition of the iconic World War II aircraft promises to be a visual treat and a comprehensive flying experience that aims to transport pilots back to the era of dogfights and naval warfare. The aircraft defended American carriers and proved itself a formidable opponent against Japanese aircraft. The aircraft requires a substantial amount of rudder work during takeoffs and offers a convincing stall behavior, making it a realistic yet accessible experience for virtual pilots. The aircraft features a complex electrical system complete with circuit breakers, engine vibration effects that are visible both inside and outside the cockpit, and even a free-castering tailwheel with both authentic and simplified options. The attention to detail extends to the cockpit, where pilots will find a map tray with additional customization options and a collimated gunsight with two reticle options. For those who love the thrill of carrier operations, the F4F-4 Wildcat comes with built-in tailhook-assisted landing and simulated launch bars, making it compatible with various carrier products like Touching Cloud, Jay Shrike, and Supercarrier Pro. The aircraft also supports multiplayer animations, including canopy, wing folding, weapons, and lights, adding another layer of immersion and realism.

Also please do not overwrite the new Wilga update on top of the old Wilga folder. Just delete "gotfriends-wilga" from you Community Folder and drag the newly extracted "gotfriends-wilga" to your Community Folder. Overwriting add-ons is a major mistake that is slowing being accepted as common practice. This is never the case and many of our support requests are due to individuals overwriting folders instead of doing a fresh "drag-n-drop" install. Our updates never include individual files.

Most of these airplanes come with just the standard set of features in terms of modeling, with limited variants or the lack of some effects.
