Goku is a Saiyan who was sent to Earth as an infant as his home world of Planet Vegeta faced total annihilation. When he arrived at Earth, Goku suffered a major head injury that altered his personality drastically, changing him from an aggressive and powerful monster to a fun-loving kid who liked to fight for pleasure.
