It goes on smooth and velvety every time and delivers a flawless finish—minus the heavy, cakey feeling. I like the fact that it comes with a pump dispenser. The outer black carton carries all the necessary information about the foundation. This particular foundation was recommended by the SA at Givenchy counter when I told her about my requirements. I got it done on my half face and quite liked how it looked on me. I also tried on the very popular MAC studio fix foundation, but then settled for this one by Givenchy. This foundation has a very light, creamy sort of a formula not very hydrating though. The consistency is not thin or watery and not even thick I would say; lies somewhere in between. I mostly apply my foundation with fingers clean, sanitized fingers and it blends into the skin with minimal effort and in no time. I have also tried it with a sponge, a foundation brush, stippling brush and it applies smoothly either ways.
