Ghost whisperer

The show's title is a reference to the main character, Melinda Gordon portrayed by Jennifer Love Hewittwho has the ability to see and communicate with the ghost whisperer.

A woman must help the earthbound spirit of a soldier who appears not to realize he is dead. Melinda helps a young boy find his parents after he was killed when a train collided with his mother's car. The identical twin sister of a teenage girl requests Melinda to help her apologize to her sister who is a psychiatric patient. A man killed in a biking accident seeks Melinda's help to save his fiance'e's life and finding out who received his heart afterwards. Melinda discovers the spirits of three boys and a dog who died in an orphanage fire in and must help them cross over before the inn they are inhabiting is destroyed.
