Geonosian-Droid cyborgs , or droid workers , were battle droids modified to become "new Geonosians " by the Geonosian Queen Karina the Great. Karina would be able to create these strange soldiers by fusing her womb with an old Separatist Droid Factory. During the Galactic Civil War , Darth Vader and members of his personal force would encounter these cyborgs during a mission to their homeworld of Geonosis to try and steal the Droid Factory.
