Being an ardent fan of Biriyani, it didn't take me too long to plan my trip to Paradise in Bangalore. Let me warn you first as the wait could be long and with no designated place to sit, the wait could be irritating. What impressed me though was that they didn't encourage sharing even if half the crowd were ready to share tables, something I expect only from few restaurants especially with a crowd of over 25 people waiting at pm mind you for lunch! Yet miraculously we got a seat in 10 minutes. The ambiance specially in the 1st floor is commendable. Our order was simple and we got it in a reasonable time. The drinks, lassi and sweet lime soda were average, the glasses came without straws which meant that the waiters were super busy. We ordered tandoori chicken and the preparation was very different yet pleasantly delicious. But I was in Paradise for the Biriyani and that came at a time when I was absolutely starving at pm. I was skeptical about the quantity at first and even more when I realised that I was eating like a beggar, guess what 1 plate served two of us fully with quite some rice to spare. Yes chicken pieces were just 2 and one off them was a small leg piece so that can be bettered.
