Cotton Farming is the long-haul achievement in the game. You have to cultivate Cotton Flowers , harvest them, and then finally sell 40 self-produced cotton bales in one sitting. Technically, this is cumulative, but some people have problems with this if not done in one sitting! The good thing is that you can work on many achievements at the same time if you like. For the best outcome, you need field You need a Cotton Harvester. The game has two harvesters I tried mods but that equipment did not work very well. The recommendation is the John Deere CP for , each. The Deere pushes round bales out, and your biggest trailer can hold 3 of them. The next step is Large Tractors , any one will fit. Just choose whatever looks best for you. My recommendation is JCB Fastrac for , each. It is the fastest in the game, but in fact, you can also use any other setup that suits best for you.

There are eight types of harvesters within the game: combine harvesters, forage harvesters, potato harvesters, beet harvesters, sugarcane harvesters, cotton harvesters, grape harvesters and olive harvesters. In game, all harvesters are sold separately from the cutting head, and same-type harvesters can use all other same-type headers. This includes the majority of modded harvesters, as well. Combine harvesters are used for harvesting wheat, barley, oats, sorghum, canola, soybeans, sunflowers and corn. Forage harvesters are used for making the chaff. The potato harvesters are used for harvesting potatoes. Grimme Ventor is used for both functions.
