Not much is known of their origins, as their home planet is never seen. All known members of this race in Universe 7 in the manga and anime have been from a solitary family line, Frieza's family. Once again, Frieza transformed. By the Tournament of Power, Frieza's long period of mental training seems to have returned him to his previous composed and self-confident self from before his defeat on Planet Namek. In the manga, Goku and Frieza battle each other during Goku's negotiation with Frieza to join Team Universe 7, ending with both equally beaten up. Frieza admits that he does not need Final Form in order to decimate the remaining fighters, and only enters this form as a display of power to dig the seed of hopelessness further into the survivors. Don't have an account? Apart from an emotional outburst from Gohan, it seemed as though Frieza would attain victory without further transformations. Given the huge threat he posed, however, it seems likely he will. Don't have an account?
