Automotive Forums. While trying to start car initially, there was a slight pause prior to start. Concern I turn it off and tried again unsuccessfully no sound. I removed the battery successfully tested to clean and secure posts. After reconnecting the battery, the service engine soon light came on. All appear to be related to the transmission. The next morning it reappeared and the car would not start starter not engaged.
