It has been a long road to our latest stable release. We are happy to introduce some long-awaited features, stunning visual elements, and more realistic simulations of various Aneo systems. Our new custom flight management focuses on bringing the system architecture even closer to how the real A handles FMS data and the interactions. As part of the hydraulic update, we have also made ground handling much more realistic and have finally implemented steering via the tiller. Previously, most users opted to use the rudder axis to steer the aircraft on the ground. Now, nose wheel steering can be accomplished via the tiller!

The team at FlyByWire Simulations made an excellent appearance during FSWeekend last week and the team brought with them some goodies for visitors to see. Alongside a mountain of stickers, the team also showcased the AX for the first time. Whilst announced a while ago , the team has been working tirelessly to bring the aircraft to Microsoft Flight Simulator. However, a new preview video of the aircraft in action has been shared on YouTube. During the minute video , we see, for the first time, footage of the AX in action.

In the minute video, we saw the team start up the APU, complete engine checks and begin taxiing. We saw onboard airport maps with taxiway information, data inputted into the MCDU and saw the full routing in the display. Furthermore, the displays also showcased things such as cabin door status, engines and temperature.
