Due to the massive nerfs to Heatshiver, it now no longer carries the build on itself. However, flicker strike build, given it is still your best helmet option, probably showcases how stupidly broken the item was.

It makes you instantly teleport to a nearby enemy, dealing very high damage, but has a cooldown unless you spend a Frenzy Charge on your attack. The general idea behind this build is to generate Frenzy Charges at a higher rate than you can spend them on Flicker Strike to be able to freely spam it even against Bosses. That's achieved by utilizing the Raider class and Uniques like Farrul's Fur. Combining Flicker Strike with Multistrike will allow you to instantly teleport between packs of enemies obliterating them thanks to the extra AoE explosions from Herald of Ice, making it one of the fastest melee builds in the game. The flashy visual effects, however, may not suit everyone.

In general, the build is probably a bit stronger overall, as we implemented some extra little tech to make it better than before. Make sure to keep an eye out for the Transfigured Flicker Strikes. Hopefully you can pick up the one that mimics the Enchant which we did lose. Flicker Strike is notorious for being complicated to get going as well has being a currency sink, yet something that people have an incredible urge to play. This guide aims to solve all of those problems making it possible for everyone to play Flicker Strike at a fairly reasonable entry price, while maintaining options to min-max the build to its fullest. I forgot my password. Estimated budget : high. Flicker Strike is the build with one of the fastest clear speed in the entire game. Zipping around entire maps, killing whole packs of monsters in no time while maintaining very high defenses is what makes this build insanely good. This Guide has been thoroughly redesigned for Patch 3. This build utilizes several expensive Uniques including Farrul's Fur, The Saviour and Paradoxica swords, Unnatural Instinct, and several other moderately expensive Items. Thanks to Farrul's Fur with Unset Ring combination, you get to generate enough Frenzy Charges for undisturbed Flicker Strike spam and pick up Elementalist and Inquisitor Ascendancies for massive damage bonuses. This build is hybrid between melee and range, due to the mechanics of Flicker Strike, which teleports you between monsters while doing damage in melee range. The build is very straightforward to play - you are killing whole screens with your Flicker Strike, and its' cooldown can be bypassed by expanding Frenzy charges from Blood Rage skill and Farrul's Fur unique property. For the defenses, you should have over 5, Life, high chance to Dodge, Elusive, and slow down enemies via Pandemonius Amulet.

Gear Page. Don't get Mageblood if you don't already have one and want to cram it into this build. Shield Rare Shield - you need to have a Shield with the highest defensive stats you can afford and you need to best craft the Aspect of the Cat on it. You can see it in my Simu fight against Kosis, look for my skill bar flashing the secondary skills that's where I have frenzy allocated. It's basically impossible to start off with Flicker Strike. Flicker Strike is notorious for being complicated to get going as well has being a currency sink, yet something that people have an incredible urge to play. Do note that this does not have the same amount of Support as Path of Building has and it is highly recommended you install Path of Building to follow builds most optimally. The upside, however, is that Flicker really packs a punch once you can bypass this little annoyance and in combination with Raider it gets a lot of things it really likes. I forgot my password. Fractured bases and Essences are very pricey currently and you will pay upwards of times what you would normally. Create a new account Don't have an account yet? Jewel Rare Jewels - look for similar stats as on Abyss Jewels. All around, the sky is the limit when it comes to this budget, and you can reach tens of millions DPS with this setup. Yes you can go mageblood, you'll obviously want to make different choices on your non-belt slots if you go Mageblood, since you won't be needing resistances and can just shove in some DPS suffixes instead.
