My cat was very excited about this toy and played with it for about 5 minutes last night and about minutes this morning. Unfortunately, he managed to rip holes in the wings that quickly and, since the velcro used to close the battery pack is weak and poorly constructed, he very easily ripped the entire battery pack out of the back of the bird. When I turned around to see why he was meowing, I saw the motor and wings sitting completely separate from the now destroyed plushy bird. For the price, I would have expected this toy to last for more than an hour. Unless your cat has no teeth, do not buy this toy! It took longer to charge than he got to play with it. So disappointed. Loved the idea of this toy. It seems well made, the velcro covers battery well but the bird did not charge. Plugged it in. Turned red but only for about 10 minutes then no light at all. Left the charger in for three days trying two different outlets. Red only for a few minuts then nothing.
