Audio-Animatronics also known as simply Animatronics , and sometimes shortened to AA s is the registered trademark for a form of robotics animation created by Walt Disney Imagineering for shows and attractions at Disney theme parks , and subsequently expanded on and used by other companies. The robots move and make noise generally a recorded speech or song , but are usually fixed to whatever supports them. An Audio-Animatronic is different from an android-type robot in that it uses prerecorded movements and sounds, rather than responding to external stimuli. In , Disney debuted an interactive version of the technology called Autonomatronics , and in , announced aerial stunt figures called Stuntronics. Audio-Animatronics were originally a creation of Walt Disney employee Lee Adams, who worked as an electrician at the Burbank studio and was one of Disney's original Imagineers. Walt Disney got a mechanical toy bird in New Orleans , and he decided to improve the device that moved it.

It was created by William Afton to hunt down and kill Charlotte Emily. Twisted Wolf appears to be a cross between a bipedal wolf and an animatronic. His tall body seems to be cybernetic, with one side of his body seemingly composed of flesh and the other side mechanical [1]. He has silver fur, with large, silky ears [2] , and an elongated snout [3]. The wolf also has sharp teeth, and shining blue eyes [4]. At times, he appears to be stooped over [5]. The right side of his body more closely resembles a wolf, being very furry and with his silver mane [6] [7] running over the top of his head and down his back, and the right hand and right foot being smaller. The left side however, is more robotic, with a visible endoskeleton, rubbery translucent skin, a wider left eye socket, and spikes protruding from his left arm. The wolf is first seen by Charlie in Chapter 8.
