In the early game of Subnautica , you'll be scouring for any resource you can get while trying desperately to survive in the oceans of Planet B. One of these important early-game resources is Fiber Mesh. Fiber Mesh is used for a few different things that are essential early on in the game. When you eventually decide to explore the wreck of the Aurora, you'll need a few Fiber Mesh before you can get started. Let's take a look at how to make Fiber Mesh, and where you can find the materials you'll need. Fiber Mesh is crafted by combining two Creepvine Samples in the Fabricator. Creepvine Samples are a raw material that can be harvested in the Kelp Forest biome. The Kelp Forest should be easy enough to find, as there is one located close to where your Lifepod lands. The defining feature of this biome are the large vines that grow from the ocean floor, and the green hue of the water. These vines are Creepvines, and hitting them with your Survival Knife will chop off a bit of the vine , allowing you to pick up Creepvine Samples.
