My friend is shooting the excalibur fire bolt with the new shwacker crossbow out of his axiom and killed 2 big bucks and 4 doe this year there is nothing wrong with your setup. Finally, I understand that I could easily use the scope as is with the understanding that the aiming points may just be a bit closer, which I may do, but I will be needing a new string before long anyway.
