Hoppe has been charged with three federal crimes: distribution of child pornography, coercion and enticement of a minor, and attempted transportation of a minor with intent to engage in sexual activity. The most serious of the charges, coercion, carries as its maximum a life sentence. The year-old Hoppe was arrested at a Warrenton motel on March 16 after allegedly arranging to see a man she met on a fetish-based social media site. The man turned out to be an undercover FBI agent posing as the perverted father of an 8-year-old girl. Most recently, Eleanor Hoppe worked on divorce cases as a paralegal at the law firm of Tucker Griffin Barnes. She also donated to and worked for child advocacy organizations.
