Remember Me? Just had this done to my E92 with around 25k miles. BMW recommends the service every 2yrs or 20k miles. At first I was skeptical as to the benefits I've always put in 91 octane from the well known brands of gasoline and followed oil changes and service per the owner's manual. Was wondering if I would notice any benefits. Since I've never used Redline fuel injection cleaner between the oil changes and this thing is essentially a race car I pulled the trigger. We'll when I got my car back Anyone else have the Fuel Injector and Induction Cleaning service done?
I opened up mine last night and aside from the torn gasket that came with in, efiservice opiniones, I was pretty pleased. If the belt requires replacing at the same efiservice opiniones as the engine, this is purely a coincidence and would add very little cost anyway - if the replacement engine doesn't come with a new belt fitted and the existing belt is not serviceable, the only 'extra' involved is the cost of a new belt.

I suspect they'd have to do this anyway and are trying to get away with charging me for it I have a Hyundai Tucson that is getting an engine replacement under an extended warranty that resulted from a class action lawsuit. The dealer is telling me I have to pay for the work to "prep" the car for the new rebuilt engine. I fully admit that since I only speak rudimentary Car Repair most of what the service manager rattled off as the "prep" work sounded like the adults speaking in Charlie Brown. It seemed it was all about draining various fluids so the 'new' engine would have clean fluids running through it.

Obviously that seems really high for that, and I have no signs of needing one. Mileage is almost 20k. They then sent me an email once again recommending it, as shown below. I know there are gas additives that claim to do the same thing, but I haven't used any. What are the rest of you doing for this? What works well?

Aside from that, I never was a fan of thinning the blade's shaft for a ported TB. Maybe they we are curious just how much interference there is? I pulled the injectors on my '88 M6 and had them cleaned and rebuilt by WitchHunter Performance. The intake is gummed up by exhaust gas recirculation and PCV flow. A more-or-less correct although irrelevant explanation of a serpentine belt. They had scored pistons and sometime holes in the tops of the piston. How fast can you afford to go? Has everything you need already in it. Certainly not at 20k miles. The throttle body was ported and I had a half shaft mod some to increase the flow through it. I use a bottle to Techron once a year or Redline fuel system cleaner just as a preventative thing. If your car is due for a general service at around the same time, it's probably worth doing it then just for convenience, but don't expect the dealer to discount the cost even though their costs will be lower.

They put an additive in your fuel. Now what to do and what can be done: Carbon build up on valve stem: Not much as any work would require head removal and valves removed and cleaned. So i think he's pretty qualified, but possibly his "conventional wisdoms" might be out of date as things do change incrementally in an industry. I found most of the parts in the sheet metal intake manifold. Upon investigation I found the throttle body shaft broke. People that do speak more fluent Car Repair: Is it legit that I should pay for this? I cut the ignition and brought the car to a stop in gear. I am not aware of any mechanic that would offer to remove the intake and TB for a manual clean as it is really not needed, with the exception of the TB for a problem with the butterfly sticking due to build up. The injector location with respect to the valve will also be susceptible to this at a lessor rate. With that I base my statements below: 1. I fully admit that since I only speak rudimentary Car Repair most of what the service manager rattled off as the "prep" work sounded like the adults speaking in Charlie Brown. Before most of you were born, we used to "drop" our metal gas tanks, and take them to a guy in North Tulsa, near a couple of salvages, and he would boil-out your fuel tank to remove the rust, crud and any lead bromide crystals I've seen one 12" in diameter and 5" thick built-up that reduced your gas tank capacity a Ford's If possible, I suggest you find another dealer to do the work you may not have a choice. You may want to disconnect the air hose at TB and take a peak in side there. Sign up.
