But the magazine release button is hard to push and the magazines will not drop out, I have to pull them out. Has anyone else had this problem with there EC9s, and is there a cure? I'm not sure this will solve your problem, but it is what I noticed my EC9. Next time I go to the range I will pay more attention to my finger location on the opposite side as I cycle threw my supply of magazines. This might be the problem because it would not always happen.

I took mine apart to clean it and took a good look at the magazine release mechanism. It is made of steel and comes in a blued finish. If you've never seen one before it is basically in the shape of a "V" with each wing of the V being approx 1" long. The people at Ruger are a great bunch but they told me that they are not allowed to do custom gunsmithing and any alterations to the stock parts is not allowed. It has become my IWB rig. I will take it back out to the range tomorrow to make sure but I think it is fixed.
