The baby blanket obsession continues! This time, I wanted to make something feminine with lots of texture. Way back when I was expecting with my daughter almost 10 years ago! There were so many that I loved, but I found the stitch patterns way to complicated for my pregnancy brain to keep track of. I just wanted something simple and easy to follow. My intent with this baby blanket was to create a beautiful, yet simple knit baby blanket that would be perfect for a baby girl. I found a gorgeous stitch called the pearl drop stitch in one of my knitting books and then mixed it up rows of garter stitch. I have to say that this is my favourite baby blanket so far. It was so much fun to make and since I used a bulky yarn, it built up so fast!
