Jan 20, GMT. Aug 2, GMT. Nov 30, GMT. About to start another DA2 playthrough, going to do a 2H warrior since I haven't played one in DA2 before- any builds, leveling advice, tactics, etc would be more than welcome.. What specializations do people prefer?

It will rely on having low health and fast attack speed to shred any enemies you will encounter. The lower the HP the more damage you can expect. This is a build that will shred enemies in a large radius before the Reaver, making most of the encounters very easy. Of course, this requires some practice so that you would not die fast. But once you get a hang of it, you can expect to take out enemies in seconds. Selecting correct attributes is very important. This will enable you to maximize your damage, survivability, and what abilities you can use. To pull this off I recommend having a Tank in the party until level 14 at least. Later on, due to the experience and the build power every encounter will become easier. That is the good time to switch out the tank for another rogue or mage.

The class itself has access to most weapon types with the exception of staffs and ranged weapons. In addition, the Warrior can equip the heaviest of armors plus they have the ability to equip shields that also give an armor bonus. Apart from that, the Defender skill tree is quite appealing and the Battlemaster skill tree contains a few abilities that will help you hold the attention of enemies. As far as what the recommended attributes are, it depends on what type of character you want. First of all, strength and constitution are needed to wear the strongest armor. Strength also boosts your damage and increases your attack rating, which determines your chance to hit enemies. Constitution also increases your health points and willpower increases your stamina.
