Optometrist Dr. Neil Rubin has been serving the local community since he graduated from optometry school in His post-graduate work included working with children in prominent Long Island developmental vision practices and becoming certified in the diagnosis and therapeutic treatment of eye diseases. Most recently he became Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry to assure the best care for his patients. These classes provide up to date procedures and technology that continuously reshapes "the standard of care" for his patients. Some diseases he checks for are dry eyes, cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Diabetic evaluations are done with a report sent to the physician if requested. He sees patients for emergencies, red eyes, and prescribes medications if needed. Rubin has a twin brother. Rubin has two beautiful children, Justin and Holly. Outside of work, he likes to play golf, exercise, enjoys gardening, and visiting the local restaurants. But most of all he is focused on you.
