I've always been kind of interested in ancient Greek architecture, so one day while I was bored, I decided to make a to-scale model of the Parthenon in Greece. This proved to be actually quite simple, only cutting out different sized rectangles, and gluing some painted wooden dowels in, and presto! In case you didn't know, the ancient Greeks contributed a lot to our modern day architecture, like columns and friezes, and even invented porches. Ok, enough of the history lesson, lets get to building! For those of you who don't know, sketchup is a 3d program mainly used for architecture, and has lots of nice features to help with modeling. Once you have this downloaded, click on "File" then go down to "3D Warehouse" then click on "Get Models

I have a youtube channel with over Project Videos! Hi, Thanks for visiting my website. My name is Will and if you have questions or would like to contribute projects or ideas you can contact me. This is a complete paper project on how to make a paper Parthenon. I have the full instructions here on this webpage and I also have them in a downloadable Microsoft Word document. You can download the booklet and print it up then cut out all the pieces and glue or tape them together. This is a fun and easy project to do and make. I also have a youtube video that goes along with this project. The video shows this project, tells a little bit about it and also has some footage of the actual Parthenon. It is at the bottom of this page. Thanks for checking out my paper Parthenon Project. I have lots of other paper projects on my website.
Not through the tube but through the valve. Looks like it certainly could allow good excursion.
Materials : Toilet paper rolls at least 10 , cardboard enough for the base and roof , scissors, paint, glue stick, paint brush, ruler, pencil. Mine is 8 inches wide. This will be the base of your triangle that will go between the pillars and the roof. You are going to use this dot to find the point of your triangle. The taller your triangle is, the taller your roof will be.

Its decorative sculptures are considered some of the high points of classical Greek art , an enduring symbol of Ancient Greece , democracy and Western civilization. The Black Dragon paper Castle- This is my latest paper castle project and currently the castle is completed but the tutorial is not. With an extension, the inflating stem would feed through the diaphragm, and you could inflate the tube to a variety of pressures, which would supply a variety of compliance curves. My hypothesis was something more akin to an old 2-way door hinge, like an old saloon door as I stated on CAT - applied to a surround. I admit, the surround would be impractical, but a spider of this size is quite feasable I look forward to what this thread brings up Step 4 : Draw the rectangles that will be used as your roof. Start by taking the 2. I'm open to any other suggestions of how we could get radial centering with infinite compliance. I'd always thought of it as working in tandem with ferrofluid to position the VC radially, and reap the benefit of going spiderless but ferrofluid is out of the question here, IMHO. At the bottom, we have a three-gap version of the Parthenon motor with a 4" dia.

Step 1 : Remove any excess toilet paper from toilet paper rolls. Top Bottom. This should get really good. PS: Sorry if my attitude seems a little grumpy in this step, but this really made me angry, making all these tiny things. One of the half-rolls the bottom one had holds drilled through it every few inches, to allow air to escape I dont know what sort of tube you expect to use, but you will have to sort out two problems: 1 The tube will take up a lot of energy Next glue the long rectangular strips around the edge of the roof on the small edge pieces, so that they wrap around.
