What implication does it have to play undead. Joined: Oct Dreepa OP. Hi, I just got the game. At first I wanted to play an Elf, but they are super ugly. Don't know why they are called Elf, they should be called Dryads or something totally new, but whatever.

One of the stretch goals for the Divinity 2 Kickstarter was adding undead to the game, and boy am I glad the backers made it happen. There are some downsides, sure. But here are a few reasons why I think you should ignore them and embrace the void. How many times have you played as a human, an elf, or a dwarf in a fantasy RPG? And how many times have you played as a talking skeleton? And this is the first reason to play as an undead in Divinity 2. Frankly, being a skeleton is cool as hell, especially when you can garnish your character with a fetching beard or some sparkling skull jewellry. A small price to pay. While a simple cowl or helm will do a good enough job of hiding your skeletal face from suspicious guards and townsfolk, undead characters can take things a step further. Being able to switch races on the fly like this has a few interesting applications. It lets you access race-specific dialogue that would otherwise be blocked off to your character. And they say the undead are weird. You can choose which variety of skeleton you want to be, and some of them look amazing—particularly the undead lizard. These premade characters get their own backstory, quests, and dialogue options, and although you can recruit them all while playing as a custom character, getting to play as one especially Fane is pretty cool.
This ability allows a player to place either poison an enemy or they can throw it on the ground to set a pool of poison.
Undead is a Race in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Undead become an undead version of one of the other 4 races, making an effective hybrid Race. The Undead are an abhorred race in Rivellon, considered abominations of the natural order. Those who wish to walk among the living must mask themselves or risk provoking violence. Undead : You heal from poison, but regular healing damages you. Corpse Eater : Eat body parts to access memories of the dead. Play Dead : Fool enemies into thinking you're dead.
Fane is arguably one of the most interesting characters in Divinity: Original Sin 2. Fane also has some interesting quirks and abilities that make him a unique fighter. These can be combined with a number of interesting builds that really expand upon his talents and make him a strong character. Here are some of the better builds players should try out on Fane. His past deeds turn out to be a major plot reveal, and fans of lore will always want him in their party. His character journey is fascinating, too. Over the course of the story, as players watch his attitude towards the modern world shift from haughty disdain to intrigued fascination. As players take Fane through Rivellon, there are a number of roles he can take on in the party.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 has been out for a while now, but that doesn't mean players aren't still trying to figure it out. One of the hardest things to figure out when starting a new game is what type of character to choose. Undead seems cool, but they don't play like a normal flesh and blood character. How do they work? What skill do you possibly choose to complement a skeleton?

Divinity - Original Sin - Lates World of Rivellon. While a simple cowl or helm will do a good enough job of hiding your skeletal face from suspicious guards and townsfolk, undead characters can take things a step further. But before I waste to much time to find out they actually have serious disadvantages in conversation or the likes I wanted to ask here. Frankly, being a skeleton is cool as hell, especially when you can garnish your character with a fetching beard or some sparkling skull jewellry. I dont know if that would also damage undead though. Tech Support. The undead ability to Play Dead works as a functional instant-flee or aggro-shed, which can be quite useful and easily compensates for any combat flaws the undead suffer. When the game said "being undead has it's own unique risks and challenges etc" I really thought it would be more difficult, like only being able to wear headgear that covers my entire head and face, having to wear full clothing sets at all times, and not letting people touch me like shaking my hand or hugging me. Not to mention the cool factor of being a literal skeleton which is the main reason I play undead So are there REALLY any actual downsides to being an undead? Most of the time the less intelligent undead serve as expendable slaves to the necromancers who have created them.
