Invader Zim is an American animated science fiction dark comedy television series created by comic book writer and cartoonist Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim voiced by Richard Steven Horvitzfrom the planet Irk, dib nickelodeon, and his mission is to conquer Earth and enslave the human dib nickelodeon along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR Rosearik Rikki Simons.

Dib Membrane is the central antagonist of the Nickelodeon animated Invader Zim franchise, serving as one of the three main antagonists alongside Almighty Tallest of the television series Invader Zim and the main protagonist of the Netflix film Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus. He is an eccentric young boy who is obsessed with the paranormal. He's the older brother of Gaz Membrane and son of Professor Membrane. Self-proclaimed "defender of Earth", he attends skool with Zim and is determined to stop him from conquering Earth or expose him as an alien, though almost nobody believes him.
