In Last Epoch it feels like every enemy runs straight at you for ever. Diablo is also backed by a multi billion dollar corp, it would be pretty sad if it didnt feel better. Sadly, D4 is as deep as a puddle. Last Epoch may be uglier and clunkier, but its a better arpg, there is no arguing that. Blizzard knows how to make animations, and how to make them fit in the gameplay. But this game blows anything Blizzard did out of the water with its skill trees.

The controls are responsive, the animations and effects are top-notch, and the overall gameplay feels great to play. Last Epoch looks beautiful in max graphics, which my mid-tier PC could run smoothly consistently. Character models, environments, and special effects are all detailed and on point. But I would suggest play both. It's a good thing from fans to fans, but nothing more. Thats an arpg. Its funny going to the PoE subreddit, there are so many new people there because of D4, and they seem to absolutely love PoE. We can go back and forth about it for sure and I think taste playes a big role at the end of the day. All rights reserved. In my opinion, gameplay-wise, last epoch is better than diablo because it has more skill modifications, through the skill trees and unique items for each build, and a much better endgame than diablo2, diablo3 AND diablo4 combined. You arent wrong in any of your assumptions. I never hear people call games like PoE. Fun fact the new cosmetic mount in D4 costs twice the price of Last Epoch, that shows you where their priorities lie. I spent easy hours in D4.
