The boost to kinetic special weapon damage sounds like an indirect buff to Izanagi's Burden to me, and I hope I'm right because sniper rifles really need help in PvE and they aren't in today's patch notes.

You don't even have an LFR in the loot pool this season. Stop pushing this bounty on us. If you want us to use them make them worth it - you know, not outclassed by every sniper rifle. At this point LFRs are just worse sniper rifles that need rarer ammo. They should just switch them from the Heavy Slot to Special, or increase their damage significantly.
