Perrin then received his medical degree from University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, where he switched his professional focus from children pediatrics to families family medicine. Perrin completed his residency training in Family Medicine at Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix and then continued at Good Sam as a residency junior faculty member while completing a fellowship in Faculty Development at the University of Arizona.
