Deltarune snowgrave
The Genocide route - also known as the Weird or Snowgrave route - is the hidden route in Deltarune Chapter 2.
The Snowgrave Route [note 1] is an alternate story route in Chapter 2. It takes place in the Cyber World , and significantly alters the events of the story and the bosses encountered. Despite Chapter 1 's claims to the contrary, the player 's choices matter when making decisions in this route. The first step below is the most difficult part of the route to figure out, since the game gives no hints that this specific step is necessary. Afterward, the player should be able to figure out the rest of the route on their own, since the game immediately alerts the player when the route is abandoned.

Many players have already gone through Deltarune Chapter 2 , seemingly finding most of the secrets hidden within. What secret caught most of the players off guard, however, was the hidden route that parallels Undertale 's genocide route. An important thing to note is that playing this hidden route does not change the ending of Deltarune 's second chapter. However, it does change how the story plays out and the status of certain characters by the end of the chapter. Because of this, it is clear that choosing this route does seem to have consequences that will carry on over to future chapters. Certain story elements in Deltarune are assumed to have been revealed already and may cause confusion if the initial context isn't given first. Despite the common nickname for this route being the Genocide route, killing all enemies isn't necessary from the very start. In fact, the variables that contribute to the route don't even begin until players have just Kris and Noelle in their party. Noelle joins the party shortly after Susie and Ralsei leave Kris to take another path. Because of this, if players want to make alternate save files for their different routes, the save point by the city's entrance after the party split is the best place to make that extra save. As soon as Noelle joins the party, players will want to backtrack to the Trash Zone and hit every enemy encounter possible.

In Chapter 2 of Deltarune , players have access to a secret route that most fans refer to as "Snowgrave. While taking this secret option has no effect on how the second chapter of Deltarune ends, it does, however, alter the course of the narrative and the position of several characters. This makes it obvious that selecting this course of action does seem to have implications that will continue into subsequent chapters. The hidden way that somewhat mirrors Undertale 's genocide route, however, requires an extremely strict process to finish. Follow the steps listed below and make sure to have Noelle freeze every enemy encountered, except where specifically noted below, as skipping an enemy or ending the encounter with anything other than freezing the enemy will break the game out of the Snowgrave route. The Snowgrave Route does not properly begin until Noelle joins the party in Cyber City, so any actions performed before then will not impact the progression of the route. However, there are certain optional steps players can take before it starts to make the route, as a whole, much easier.
Developer Toby Fox was always interested in how monstrous someone would have to be to actually kill as much as an RPG protagonist did, and this route was a commentary on that. The light and humorous world of Undertale basically became a horror game with the difficulty turned way up. Of course, all the sickos of the gaming world gladly jumped at the opportunity to become serial killers. When its sequel, Deltarune , came out, fans were a little confused because it seemed as if there was no comparable route. Chapter 1 seemed to really hammer home that player choice did not matter, and so we all accepted that this truly was a different sort of game. Then Chapter 2 came out and, guess what? Toby Fox included a route dedicated to murder once more. So how do you do it? Well, in Chapter 1, you were unable to head down any violent route because attempting to attack any enemy would cause them to run away.
