By joining this Covenant, you agree to serve Gwyndolin as a dispenser of justice or assassindoling out punishment to those who break the rules of their respective covenants or otherwise earn Sin sufficient to open them up to being invaded by Covenant members. The Book of the Guilty item is listing every player and their sin level however, some sin stats may not appear. Members of this covenant use the powers of Gwyndolin to invade the worlds of guilty or indicted players as blue phantoms known as Spirits of Vengeance. There are two methods of invasion:. A successful invasion rewards the invader with a Souvenir of Reprisal that can be used to increase one's rank within the covenant. Unlike the Darkwraith and Forest Hunter covenants, Blade of the Darkmoon members cannot be indicted for their invasions. If the player abandons the covenant, the number of offerings made to the covenant will be halved lowering their rank within the covenant appropriately.

In order to enter, you must first meet Sirris of the Sunless Realms. Continue through your game, and make sure you find the Dreamchaser's Ashes in the Farron area. Trade them to the Shrine Handmaid , then teleport away, or quit your game. Upon returning to Firelink Shrine , Sirris should appear again. Warning: Do not, at any point, join the Rosaria's Fingers during this series of quests. If you do, Sirris will go hostile towards you, making it impossible to properly join the Darkmoon.

Why change what could have been an amazing covenant to being a copycat covenant with rewards? That host, who was whole the time hideing in background, doing absolutely nothing, comes forward, point down on my corpse and his sunbro copy that. I wish we could become hostile towards the host the whenever it summons a white phantom. This is further backed up by people with no Sin getting invaded on rare occasions. Note: If you have previously joined a covenant, you will still be able to join the Blade of the Darkmoon, but you have to leave your current covenant to join. And kill the enemy at the right moment. If the only people that you are ever able to invade now are meta level pvp experts, then at best you are walking into an even 1v1, and at worst, you're walking into a gank with players that are close to, or even above your level.
