D16 valve cover

Thread Tools. Hey everyone i just started on this website there is one question that has been bothering me and i cant find anything about it that is reliable. So i bought this d16z6 to be swapped into my 90 hatch, d16 valve cover, well the guy said it came d16 valve cover of a 94 del sol si. Well the thing that is bothering me is the valve cover doesnt say Vtec and ive been reading that only the 94 and 95 valve covers said vtec.

I've only ever seen the charge tube just lead straight into the throttle body with nothing attached to it except perhaps a BOV. Where do they connect?
