As the outgoing Mayor, cr rod ward, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank my fellow Councillors and the community for their support during my 12 months in the role. It has been a very busy 12 months, and whilst it was a difficult decision not to recontest the Mayoral election, I will continue to enjoy flexible work arrangements when returning cr rod ward fulltime employment that will allow me to continue to serve the community as a Councillor in

Cr Ward said Moorabool was a fast-growing and increasingly-diverse council. It's exciting to see this - and the challenge is to make sure the growth is balanced. Cr Ward joked that he celebrated his first day on the job "with a root canal" - and would hit the ground running next week after recovering from the dental surgery.
