The last image viewers saw of Stephen was him being pronounced dead and loaded into a body bag, thus ending his reign of terror over Weatherfield. Stephen was caught out for his lies and misdeeds this week, after spending a year escaping justice for the murders of Jenny's ex-boyfriend Leo , as well as Leo's father Teddy and the factory's business rival Rufus.
