I am looking for tutorials for hanging dog ears, I have tried googling but there is none what I can find. I am making a digi fursuit, and I am having a problem. Down right sweltering, in fact. This tutorial was written to share some tips on how to stay cool and being safe while having fun in your fursuit. First, I'll go over some basic techniques that anyone can use. Knowing your limits is the number one way that you can stay safe while in suit. Start by trying on your fursuit for 15 minutes, take at least an hour break, and then try for thirty minutes. This friend should be able to tell you when your time limit is up. When you fursuit you can very quickly become dehydrated. Neglecting to drink lots of water can lead to dizziness, terrible headaches, and can even cause you to pass out. By drinking water you can extend the amount of time you can comfortably fur-suit by quite a bit. Since you may not want to remove your head every time you need a drink, having a straw is a must.

Thus, cool fursuits, I decided to build a sort of docking station which would house both the controller for the fursuit ventilator module as well as the batteries needed to power them. Because of this, the aerodynamics and airflow within the suit are only cool fursuits when the owner of the suit wears it.

Number Three: Wear Under Armor Wearing a cooling type under armor beneath your fursuit can make a huge difference in how hot you feel while in suit. Picture Inner layer of bodysuit constructed, with Velcro patches to mount the ventilator module in place. Thus, I decided to build a sort of docking station which would house both the controller for the fursuit ventilator module as well as the batteries needed to power them. Drying of Fursuit Head After Suiting One of the key things I had to note for my fursuit head was that it cannot be hand washed. The performance mode allows the handler to increase the voltage supplied to the fan array to be higher than what is supplied by the battery. Ventilator module must be dismounted before washing the bodysuit, and then remounted after washing and drying it. Therefore, I used a standard onesie that fit me well as a baseline for measuring the shape and size of my bodysuit. Neglecting to drink lots of water can lead to dizziness, terrible headaches, and can even cause you to pass out. Further improvements may be made to it subsequently, or a new and better version might be created altogether. Concurrently, I also realized that having a constantly flowing supply of air into and out of the suit would prevent the buildup of body odours for a more hygienic and pleasant fursuiting experience. The evaporation of water from the surface of our skin helps to remove heat from our bodies. External Controller and Battery Module It soon became obvious that simply attaching a battery to the fan array directly would not suffice to provide adequate cooling or ventilation to the suiter, as many environmental factors could not be monitored or regulated. Meters to monitor the voltages and currents flowing into or out of the system to detect abnormalities. However, with the use of this ventilator module, a specific problem would arise.

A filter installed at the ventilator inlet prevents fur from entering the fans, and must be cleaned after each suiting run. QR code. Electrical Safety To ensure the safety of the system, I installed safety devices into it. Note that the trolley is usually rolled around on the floor. Power monitoring to monitor the state and current remaining charge in the battery. Limitations Alongside these benefits, there are some limitations to note when using this fursuit ventilator cooling system prototype. Does not remove or prevent humidity buildup due to prespiration. The basic concept is to have a gel pack that has been in the freezer for some time, pressed against a key area of the body, such as the neck. Also note that the tubes which deliver air to the arms were eventually removed by the final prototype. These thresholds can be set by the suiter beforehand. Problem The main problem faced by fursuiters is the gradual buildup of heat inside their suits, which very often cannot be easily dissipated depending on the type and amount of suit construction materials used.
