Staying healthy is important to your overall success as a student. Conestoga College offers comprehensive health insurance and medical services for international students. These plans are administrated by Conestoga Students Inc. Emergency health insurance coverage begins four 4 weeks before the start of your term or the day you arrive in Canada, whichever comes later. Emergency coverage is only available to students in Ontario.

All campus cities have excellent networks of safe, reliable and convenient public transit systems. Most students use a local transit pass as it is an affordable way to commute to Conestoga College. They also provide twice weekly shuttle service between Conestoga Residence and Pioneer Park Plaza for grocery runs. Visit CSI Shuttle for more information on service routes and schedules. You need to have this permit with you when you arrive in Ontario. You cannot apply for one after you have arrived in Canada. You must have it with you whenever you are driving. With it, you can drive anywhere in Canada. In order to drive in Canada, you must purchase car insurance. This is not included in your tuition at Conestoga.
