I enquired when my last check-up was they usually let me know when a check-up is due and as it was in I asked to book. I was told that I would need to find another NHS dentist if I wanted a check-up as they are only taking private patients. I asked how long it was going to be for and they could not give me a time scale.

That was this morning and it's now almost 6pm. Have always been looked after and any problems that I have had has been dealt with. That appointment was cancelled by them a week later, which was then rescheduled. My appointment was on time and I received appropriate knowledge and removal of the lesion about my condition from the dentist. Was referred for an extraction by my dentist. His passion for oral surgery has lead to him completing a masters degree MSc in this field. Appalling service. As a long term patient of theirs, it would have been nice to have been informed of this change in policy rather than finding out when they call me to try book me privately. The provider hopes to move all services back to one location later in I feel comfortable, with minimal aches or pains and pleased that a tooth which has given me problems for almost a year has gone.
