When I switch off the ignition I get a message on the column display saying 'Check Safelock, see owners manual'. Is this normal and if not, what does it mean? Many thanks. It means that if you lock the doors they will deadlock , so if there are any passengers in the car they won't be able to open the doors from the inside. You can disable deadlock by pressing the lock button on the remote twice. If you press it twice in succession, Safelock is disabled. I only elaborated on it.
