When players go hunting for the dragon Ansur underneath Wyrm's Rock Prison in Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3 , they will eventually come across a series of tests to prove their worth as a hero. Of the four Chamber puzzles in the Wyrmway of Baldur's Gate 3 , the Chamber of Justice is perhaps the most confusing and challenging. In the middle of the room, there's a spectral Judge overlooking three shadowed paintings, surrounded by a wall of paintings that tell the story of a thief. Each painting has a name, and a description read by the narrator, and it's up to the player to figure out how to get past the Shroud of Dark Justice before making the right choice of painting. The Chamber of Justice is found to the left of the gate to Ansur in the Wyrmway. The paintings in the room tell the story of a criminal, and the player must prove their sense of Justice by choosing the right punishment for their crimes. However, the paintings that display the punishments in the center of the room are wreathed in a kind of cursed shadow, preventing them from being picked up. Players can still "Examine" them to see a basic description, but they can't be interacted with. The simplest way to cleanse these paintings is to use Remove Curse on the Judge , which will instantly get rid of the shadows on each of the central paintings. Now, players can not only interact with each painting to hear the narrator's description, but they can also pick them up. To solve the Chamber of Justice puzzle, players must place the painting depicting the correct punishment for the thief depicted on the wall, into the Empty Niche.
The rest of the chambers were simple. Ignore the paintings around the room and check out the spirit, who is literally cursed to dole out darkness.
Sometimes, this will have you needing to venture far and wide across many different locations. Other times, all these objectives will be in the same location. As you play the game, you will eventually come to Wyrmway. Wyrmway has four chambers you will need to complete. The Trial of Justice will measure your sense of justice.
In the Wyrmway, before being able to recruit the dragon Ansur to their fight against the Absolute, Baldur's Gate 3 players must pass a series of trials to prove their heroism. One of these trials is theoretically shorter than the rest, if players know exactly what to do: the Chamber of Strategy. Players don't need any special spells or combat knowledge to beat the Chamber of Strategy — they just have to play two rounds of Chess, and get a checkmate. This BG3 Chess puzzle may use life-size versions of the pieces, but the rules of the game remain the same. Follow this guide to learn the exact moves to make on turns one and two to pass the Chamber of Strategy. When players walk into the Chamber of Strategy, and interact with the Statue of Balduran there, the challenge is presented: within two moves, checkmate the Purple King. Players take control of the White pieces, which have already been placed in specific positions on the board — as if the game is already in progress.

Players who successfully find and free Grand Duke Ravengard during Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3 will learn from him that an ancient dragon sleeps beneath the city, ready to protect it during a moment of dire need. To reach it, the party must light two torches in the Wyrm's Rock Prison area using Lightning damage, then pass through a hidden door. However, the puzzles are far from over. The party must pass four trials seemingly set by Balduran himself, designed to test the party's virtues. If players fail even one puzzle, the way forward will open, but a group of enemies will appear in each test chamber and the central plaza.
