Castlevania harmony of dissonance map

I mapped out some of the out of bounds warps but stopped before I could finish them. I'm posting here what I have so far. I'm not sure if I'll ever come back to finish this. Every arrow is a warp from one room to another, and I give what map-tile of the room you warp to.

I know Zeric claimed this game back on the previous iteration of the board and were he to finish before me, I'd gladly let him have his maps on the site. In the mean time, I've gona back and remapped this game from scratch since my first maps didn't include anything like candles, items and even had the edges of some rooms missing. Seeing as I have no idea when I'll ever finish these and not wanting anyone to steal my work, you'll have to do with these half-size, color-reduced previews. Note that the red lines make up the grid that I use to align every room in the game, but unfortunately, because of inconsistencies on the part of the map programmers, some horizontal doorways don't align from one room to another unlike Circle Of The Moon and Aria Of Sorrow. When it comes to working on personal projects, I can't seem to stay focused on any given one, mostly because I either go bored or face some difficulties which make me want to switch to something else for a while.

Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance Harmony of Dissonance begins with Juste Belmont and his buddy Maxim Kishine entering the castle, where they split up to find their kidnapped friend Lydie. From there, the tale gets more bizarre - Maxim begins to act strangely, and Juste begins to suspect that something is, obviously, wrong. The first thing you'll notice about the gameplay is that it's fast. Juste trots along at a quick pace, and the shoulder buttons let him dash forward and backward with the greatest of ease, making both exploration and combat very quick. You can technically save any time, but when you restart the game, you'll be back at the last save room. Much like Symphony, there are several merchants to be discovered that will sell you potions and other vaguely interesting stuff.

For specific gameplay instructions controls, etc , please consult the game manual. This section deals with basic game mechanics and background information that should help you find your way in Castlevania's complex castles. Points of Reference Throughout the guide I refer to areas based on what castle they are in, as well as what area they are in. The areas were my own breakdown of the castle as a whole, which I made when I first started making my maps. I know that the maps aren't going to be ready when the guide first comes out I have to send them in to be done - I have no graphical skills , so I will list the in-game areas that are included in each of the sections that I made.

Partial OoB Warp Map. Why this game doesn't have a glitchless category? Also see that Top9-B has that same warp-sequence as TopB, because they both lead to the same destination going the same way. It's been a while since I played Harmony of Dissonance so I'm a little rusty but as far as I can remember the thing was rather simple. Is the whole thing supposed to be light blue in the end? The 'net is a great source for answers, but there's nothing worse than when you're searching for a very specific answer and you end up accidentally seeing a bunch of spoilers. Sometimes they're based on Juste, sometimes on Maxim, and sometimes with different of Juste's abilities though never floating boots, which would open up a lot. Knowing Terra, though, that is an if , isn't it? See the big guide under the heading "Out of Bounds" for different things you can do out of bounds to get different warp-sequences and other handy techniques. If it can be logically broken up then I think the smaller maps are better. I'm several hours into it and enjoying it more than I thought I would. It's probably blue and green as you said. However, they couldn't be used as such since that would mean that both faces would be facing the same way.

Dissonance IS confusing, and initially you will go from castle A to B without the game telling you. The order I went through them was close to the order you would go through the castle as Juste regularly. The same part of TopB has an arrow leading to a box which shows different possible destinations depending on what you do from it. Also see that Top9-B has that same warp-sequence as TopB, because they both lead to the same destination going the same way. Updated 5 years ago by sopha. Despite its lack of originality and lack of hidden stuff, Harmony of Dissonance is still yet another top notch Castlevania game. However, they couldn't be used as such since that would mean that both faces would be facing the same way. There's very little new here, nothing we haven't seen done and in some cases, done better in other Castlevania games.
