Background: The use of wearable cuffless blood pressure BP devices is becoming commercially prevalent with little published validation information. Most devices rely, at least in part, on the relationship between pulse arrival time PAT and BP, a theoretical fundamental relationship that was first commercially exploited in with the release of the Casio BP digital watch. Device accuracy was determined by comparison to a conventional cuff-based BP device measurements. Methods: Twenty participants 11 female, 9 male had BP measured using both devices at rest, during a 5-minute isometric hand-grip exercise and at 1-minute post-exercise. Does anyone know where I might find instructions for these? It i impossible for me at least to figure out how to do anything with either, and I'm sure these both work-just replaced button cells with a CR for the blood pressure watch and a CR for the TV remote control watch. Since he passed away 14 years ago, this ended up being even more special now as I see how it works. I was surprised to see it was newer than I thought. I had used the TV watch so I know it works.

My blood pressure became elevated as I aged and I am now in my seventies, so I need to keep an eye on it and I have a blood pressure machine at home. I thought though how much more convenient it would be if a watch on the wrist could measure it and good old Casio used to make one in their gadget heavy days. I bought this one because it looked in good condition and was said to be working. The battery was shot when it arrived, a push of the light button reset the watch. So I changed the battery but now there was no sound.
