Carquest Corporation is an American automotive parts distribution network that was sold and currently owned and operated by Advance Auto Parts via independent retailers associated with the network as "Carquest Auto Parts". As of October 4, Advance operated 5, stores, Worldpac branches. The Carquest marketing alliance and distribution network was formed in by O. Temple Sloan Jr. BWP was later acquired by Advance Auto in Dan Bock later served as president of Carquest. Carquest acquired Worldpac in , but kept its operations separate.

The store model targets the emerging automotive DIY channel and is designed specifically for independent owners who receive additional operations and merchandising DIY support from Advance. Raleigh, N. Carquest by Advance stores feature interior and exterior signage and a core selection of DIY automotive parts and products made available by Advance. The merchandise assortment includes DieHard batteries, which are owned by Advance. Carquest by Advance stores can also offer free curbside services, including battery testing and installation, wiper blade installation, curbside and in-store parts pickup and DIY-friendly hours. However, in conversations with independent owners, we identified significant opportunities to also increase their DIY traffic.
